47.50. $stringGlobalEnter and $stringGlobalLookup

The PROCEDUREs $stringGlobalEnter and $stringGlobalLookup manipulate dynamic records of the CLASS $stringGlobalSymbol, which records STRING-valued names in the global symbol table. The PROCEDUREs are described in detail in Section 36.18.
